KATIE GREEN BA HONS
Katie qualified from Gloucestershire university in 1979. Since graduating she became fascinated in Mosaics and in particular the possibilities of adding new perspectives to this ancient art. She currently works from her Worcestershire home and has had many pieces selected and sold at exhibitions all round the country. Katie has developed her own unique style; much of her recent work has been applied onto a backing of glass thus letting in another dimention, natural light.

You will see mirrored glass in many of her pieces, this allows movement to be combined with light and brings pieces to life displaying a multitude of natural colours. All of Katies pieces are totally unique and connected to her interest in nature, she hopes to add but not distract from this. All her pieces are frost proof and therefore can give enjoyment all year round.
